Paintscratch.com

Hey all,

Since MB does not have any DB268 Green paint touch up pins still available I ordered one from Paintscratch.com. Has anybody used them before? Seems like they know what they're doing, although I wish I knew if their MB paints were Glasurit or Spies-Hecker.

Check them out at http://www.paintscratch.com

I used their spray paint on the 280C - light ivory - in the engine compartment. I was really happy with the results. You will need to clear-coat because their paint has no shine, and you need to watch the timing of the clear coats. They have good directions on their site.

Chuck,

I did not order the clear coat from them, since I have a stick of the MB clearcoat. I e-mailed them and asked who their paints are made by. They told me DuPont (who owns Spies-Hecker) or PPG. I think the MB clearcoat will work fine with their paint. Can't wait for it to come, I got a nasty chip in the roof (a nut or branch must have fallen on it). It's not large, maybe the size of a dime, but I am eager to get some paint on it!
