"Touching the dimmer knob for the dash lights incurs an instant death penalty, thinking of touching the knob also results in swift death."

I did quite a few back and forths and finally figured out it didnt make any difference if I did 10 or 10 million of them, replaced the rheostat and I have lights now! I had to go out after dark and sit in the car and smile...its the small things in life!

you are not alone, after cleaning guages, painting the dials , cleaning the bulbs, fixing the wiring , rheostat, spent many a day in the dark admiring my work on several of the ol gals. Which reminds me I need to do the 84
