Clean original 250SE for sale

A friend of mine inherited his Dad's '67 250SE. His dad bought it new and it was his childhood family ride but he has too many cars. It was bought new in Southern CA and spent it's whole life there except the last few years here in Nevada City. It has the original CA black plates. US well optioned version. It is very clean and original. He will probably be open to offers-I will talk to him and see what he wants for it. He is realistic about it's value. Any one in the area interested?

Hi drives it occasionally but just around town. I will talk to him again in the next day or 2 and get more information. I don't want to post his phone# on the forum so I will send a PM to whoever wants to contact him. I don't know how well it's been maintained since my friend got it so the buyer should plan on at least a oil change before driving it any distance.

Update

Hi,
It had been a while since I had seen the car. I talked to the owner today.
It is a 1968 280S (carbs) Maroon w/black int. A/C, no sunroof. Good running condition-he was driving it to Napa from here-a 200 mi round trip- but I'm sure it will need work(they all do)
No rust CA car. He mostly wants it to find a good home. I'm sure the price is very reasonable.
Send me a PM if interested and I will give you his phone#.

No money so not interested I'm afraid but maroon is a great color for the 108. Probably a car worth saving.

Anyone interested? It will probably end up at the Pick and Pull eventually. My wife already said "don't even think about it". I think he will be very negotiable.

One is too many, and a thousand is never enough...

I want it... but, I can't hide it right now.

My wife came with me to look at a 1962 Fintail 220Sb. She gave me the "don't even think about it" look, and the "NOT in my driveway speech". You can see the "Emerald Bullet" in my gallery and luckily I don't have to sleep in it. I do have to pay $175 per month on a storage facility.

Reminds me of Jack Nickelson's line in "As Good as It Gets" when he tells the Spanish lady, "Go sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here".

yes, this car keeps evolving, long after it left the factory?

however, i believe that '68 was the first year of the 280's (or /8's, as they are often referred to) and the "s', with it's thankless (?) carbs is more unique, especially with a stick? so please, do tell. thanks.

I'm sorry but I don't have any pictures. It is a auto trans 68 280S-very original and clean. The owner will be able to better describe it.
