Finding Information on Classic MB
I'm trying to find out info on my 1969 280SEC. I talked to MBNA, was able to get original paint codes and leather codes. What I would like to find, is options, sticker price, and service work. Does anyone know how to find this kind of info out?
Thanks, Michael 61 220SEb 69 280SEC 72 250C |

try this..(?)
Here's the address to get info on YOUR car...
XEROX the TITLE... and send request to: Daimler-Chrysler AG HPC 096/G328 D 70546 Stuttgart Germany I've never tried it (yet)..but I found this on the Mercedes-veterans list... It's supposed to take only 2 weeks or so!!! They'll send you a DATA CARD...which THEN you'll have to find out how to DE-CODE it (As for the record of service work...that seems like it would be dust in the wind..) ~Christy |

Christy's right about getting the data card. Also, visit http://www.heckflosse.nl/ for an explaination of the codes.

As more people discover they can do this, they are getting burried in more and more requests. At some point, they are supposed to charge for the service. I don't know when or how much.
