Symptom: Hot engine flooding
My engine has flooded on me twice in the last two days.
It's currently -27*c and when my engine is hot, after driving around for 15 or 20 minutes, it seems to want to stall when the throttle is lifted, and will in fact stall and flood out if allowed to come to idle. I can leave it sit for a little while, say 10 minutes or so and it'll crank for a longer period and slowly come to life. There is also a VERY strong fuel smell in and around the car afterward. In this last instance, I had the hood open, and I could hear some buzzing sound. sounded like a check valve vibrating. Could my Fuel distributor be on it's last legs? I've recently had all my injector lines off or loosened, and it has had new seals.

Ok, I tried to reproduce the conditions in which I encounter this problem, and I was unable to get the engine to flood, or even act like it was going to, but it did do it again today when I was NOT trying to make it flood. Anyway, What I THINK is happening, is when the engine is hot, @ 80*C and higher. my ICV is opening fully when it's cold, and closing only partially (maybe 80%) then as the engine gets hotter it suddenly closes fully, and kills the engine before I have a chance to get hood open and around to un screw my throttle screw, which is choked right down.

My flooding problem is caused by ICE.
