lost door key '79 300sd w116
lost the only copy of the "sidewinder?" key it had the round top and the cut went up the middle of the key. anyone know where i can get another copy of the key? if i cant get a copy how will i get into the trunk to change the locks?

The Mercedes dealership can have a new key made for your car. Show up with the registration or title and a driver's license (and the requisite dollars), and they will get you the key.

If you present your registration documents any MB dealer can order you a new key.
This will work only if the locks have not been changed as they cut the key by vin number. I believe this costs 25-30$ |
