Question Replacing Door Skins

Does anyone know how I can get replacement leather door skins for a 280 SE coup? I can find them for an SL but nothing else.

Thanks,

Mike

re: replacing door skins

Mike:

Try www.veteranco.com for the leather covering you are looking for sold by the yard (or so I am told - they may have a much higher minimum). I have never used them but they apparently supply many of the trim guys out there. Then either DIY or give to your local trim/interior shop to recover.

Good luck!

Mike: check this link on eBay though I think this guy is crazy to value skins this high - especially in light of my last post. Note no pics and no indication of color so you may have to email him for more info.

Funny, I saw that a few days ago. what did he want?, like $3 grand or something? I thought maybe he added an extra 0 in there by accident.
