I think getting the leather is kind of like getting a pool: if you want to enjoy a pool get it but it will not increase your resale value. (But it's great to get a pool that someone else paid for)

Interesting...

Hello Peaches,

I just spoke with the second owner of "Goldie Locks" who told me the car truly was owned by Shirley Temple Black who was at the time Ambassador to Ghana. Shirley Temple donated 3 cars to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation that were auctioned at Stanford University.

How cool is that?

I would consider buying a complete set of "parchment" colored seats that are in excellent condition. But that should be especially rare and expensive since the car with nice seats will be a restoration candidate. Do you know someone who completely wrecked a W114 but the seats are good? If the W114 is being parted out, it is usually worn out.
You can increase your odds of finding used seats if you include sedans. Same back seat, and covers will swap over to your coupe front folding seat frames.
