need help from someone with a w111 280se identify fuse amp
I have a 69 280se coupe. I am blowing the number 5 fuse on mine it is an 8 amp i just got the car, it seems to control the tach, fuel guage, power windows and turn signals maybe among other things. Does anyone have any info on witch fuses amperage go to each fuse slot ie 1- 8amp 2- 16amp etc.. if you have documentation somewhere on it or even just checking out your fuseblock for me to see what you have would be much appreciated.

There amazingly enough is a thread here with pics of various MB fuse ID plates.

That would be great. I was wondering because it shows on the little paper in the cover what each fuse is for but nowhere dies it show the appropriate amp fuse for each slot. So I'm not sure if the correct fuse is in the right spot

Yeah cool I wonder if that's with the same accessories. Mine is an auto 280se with ac and power windows. Anyone out there with first hand knowledge of there fuses what amperage they are in slot 1,2,3,4,5 etc.. Or if anyone has any literture manuals where it details the fusebox.
