W108 speed relay (1970)

I have bypassed my factory (non-working) 4 prong speed relay with an aftermarket MSD unit. but would really like to go back to factory orig. Does anybody have a functioning unit (They would like to sell) or know where to get one?

(I acually need two) Multipule cars.

Any help would be great

Michael

Hey Paul,

No I have a W113 car. It uses the same box. (Got rid of my yellow W108 car a while back).

Does your box still have the part number visible on the top? If so, I'd recommend you post it. There are different boxes out there. Thx -CTH

Silly question...

Sorry for the silly question, but what does the speed relay do, exactly?

OK, so a bit of digging and I answer my own question... I gather this is the changeover relay for timing advance. Looks like this picture, on Randy Steele's site:
