You most likely do not need a new cam. Don't sand or grind the lobe. The rocker doesn't look that bad in the pictures. I have seen *WAY* worse not just on my 4.5 but nearly every m116 and m117 I have seen in the junkyard.

Thanks Tomguy, this is good news with the cam shaft.
Anyway... I ordered a new rocker. In the picture it may seem negligible but the surface is slighly damaged/worn. I think a new rocker may help for the next couple thousand miles. |
