Angry 1972 Mercedes 300sel 4.5 / Air suspension questions.

Any body know where in Texas (Houston better) I can have my air suspension valve rebuild? and where can I buy parts for this BENZ. Please advise... THX

Can I add a spring to the rear suspension to help or replace my leaking rear air suspension???

In theory you can put springs in but this is not cheap or easy....and you loose 'the ride'. However replacing the leveling valves is not cheap either.

I am trying to rebuilt them myself on my 3.5 since some time and I have some success but it is an insane amount of pioneering and time.
Star Motors might offer a solution with rebuilt valves. There might be other sources too.

Do not compromise the air suspension system, stock or nothing. it is worth every dime or thou spent,
( it can go into 2-3k to be corrected )
check the M-100 group, web site,

You might check out Brinson Company in New Orleans - they have a lot of rebuilt parts that hardly anybody else carries.

Tbui, get down to this place and remove (Carefully) all the air suspension parts . This will give extra cores etc to keep as spares for rebuilding.
