1964 190D. Unknown miles, new clutch, looks excellent, AC doesn't work, windows have problems, looks to have been reupholstered. Very little rust (only surface), runs well. No leaks. Wants $3K for it.

Not a horrible price, looks presentable. I would say it depends on how well it has been refreshed and kept up to snuff.

I had a chance to buy one like that for less than $1K, but the reupholstery was crushed red velour and I couldn't stand it.

That was when I also had a '61 very tolerant wife. She's still with me, but not so much on the tolerant...... That may change when she gets the R107 she wants now....

CHAD!!! That looks like Ben's brother! Surely you can negoite the seller down to under $2K. Ask if he will take a downpayment with the balance after you get your tax refund.

I know, and Raquel even approved a fintail purchase. BUT only after I finish the CD and get it painted. That puts me back about a year from when I can actually buy one.

My son is now a Mercedes enthusiast too but he wants our next MB to be a ragtop.

He wants us to get one like this:

awww, NICE, perhaps priced a bit high, a have a soft spot for finnys, always too beat up for me to start on as probably never get back what goes into them, but this one looks nice. SHoot him a lower amount , all he can say is "no"

Yup, has AC but it doesn't work. Windows don't roll down properly either, broken turn signal lens, fan only has two speeds. But it does have a new(er) clutch.

I saw my first one on the road here just a couple days ago. What a stunning Benz they are. Two were up here for $1,100. One was parts, sold as a pair for only that.

Ask for a price reduction for the air fault and the windows,but who needs windows when you have air?

it looks good to me for 3 grand.
