It would be fun to fly to Victoria, buy the car, spend some time touring Victoria, and then "drive" the thing home.
That car really looks to be in too good of shape to be considered a parts car.

I don't like the add very much at all, I think it is a disgrace to all the engineering that went into the W108 body. "barely has brakes", that car has 4 wheel disc brakes which will stop the car just fine, just as good as any average modern car, imo.
Im glad he is selling that car, hopefully someone will buy it that actually know what a Mercedes is.

I saw the ad the other day. It seems to be making the rounds of all car related sites. I enjoyed it and thought it was a good read. It's nice to come across something that's well written...on Craigslist.

Interesting ad. The price is pretty high. I could not sell my friends 1 owner So cal 250S for $500. No sunroof though.
