Here's just a back end shot

I thought this license plate would best describe the characteristics of a 6.9

I always have people ask what it means....I guess if they knew..

uh.... what is a 6.9? Is it some sort of joke? An old Benz with a 6.9 V-8.. Ya right...My Civic Type-R with its 400hp I-4 could beat it!!!!
hehehehe

I hope you realize that I'm just joking! A type-R wouldn't even see the 6.9's taillights for long!

I wanna see a picture of the 6.9!!

Wow......a 6.9 L.

I assume it comes with a trailer hitch to pull an extra gasoline tank behind it.

I bet it flys

It does fly, however it's been laid up for two going on three years now because of a bad transmission. I had Star Motors (M-100 specialists) rebuild the tranny and when I got it back in the car it wouldn't hold hydraulic pressure. So the car has remained inside the garage since then. It will move a few feet back and forth, so I loaded it up into a friend's enclosed trailer and he took it to his heated barn where the car is sitting for winter (still locked in the trailer, so it's double secured). Hopefully this spring I'll have the time to get it going. I feel terrible having neglected the car for so long, but more important projects were pressing. Hope my new Michelins I put on it don't have flat spots! They have all of 300 miles on them!!

Very cool, Aaron.

There's a guy on the mercedes-veterans list that has a 300SD trunk badge on his. Now HE should have this plate!

Aaron, members

I found this thread by going to the last page! Which is exactly one year old!

Kinda neat though, and Aaron, sorry for your having to lay up such a swell car, but am glad it is secure--You are a true Guardian!

Don't they offer a warrantee? Did you wait too long and it expired? Star should have at least had a look at it.

Just curious.
