1976 450SL vac diagram / info needed
I purchased a 1976 450 SL two years ago I installed new brake cylinders lines and fan belts, I found several disconnected and plugged vacuum lines. I reconnected one on the left side of the engine to a thin pipe that was coming out of the engine way down under the intake manifold. This car has fuel injection. I got it running and i even got it iddled down low. Then I left it in my garrage for a year and now it is idling real high again. All of the vacuum lines are dry and cracking. some one told me that the vacuum lines are color coded. Where could I get a diagram of what color goes from and too where. I really want to get this on the road for next spring

Rich, this post went completely missed - I am moving it to its own thread so that someone may attach a vac diagram, if they have one. What is your email if it needs to be sent via email?

I sure hope someone posts an answer. I've been trying to figure that out for years, first with a 77 450SL and now with a 78 450SL.
