With the driveshaft out of my '71 280SE, I cleaned up a little surface rust in the driveshaft tunnel and am ready to repaint. I originally planned to use a satin black (Zero Rust rattle cans) but after further thought would prefer to go with the original grayish brown. After checking the usual spray paint retailers, I can't find anything acceptably close to the original.
Does anyone know a source for this color in spray cans?
While researching this question, I found a post on this site that recommended Rustoleum Almond as a close color match for inside the chrome bumpers. In case it's of use to anyone, I found Rustoleum Cobblestone to be a better match.
Thanks for any advice.
