1972 220 engine
Can someone tell me if a 4 cyl. gas engine from a 73-76 230.4 will fit in my 1972 220 gas. Is it the same engine or similiar?
Does someone have a good used gas engine for a 220 that they want to sell? One last question. Where is a good source to find a shop manual for this car for a reasonable price? Thanks, Greg |

Greg.
Aaron Greenberg, moderator for this forum offered me an engine for our '69 220 for 150.00 + freight. He says it came out of a'73 so it should work. Since we will rebuild the one we have we won't be needing it. He said it ran great when he pulled it. I think he is located in Ohio. I don't have his e-mail, but if you find his name on the forum, click on it and you will have the option to send him a message. |
