W111 Attic Find
Hello Peaches,
I got a call from a guy who has W111 sedan body parts that have been stored in his attic for 10 years. He has the following list of items: Four complete doors Trunk lid Hood Chrome Grill Front bumper Fenders left and right Front windshield Rear window The front passenger door has a slight ding; otherwise, it is all in pretty good shape. The color is white with brown interior. The doors have nice chrome on them. If I had a rusty W111 sedan I would snap up this batch of sheet metal. I considered buying it and parting out pieces like the window regulators and door handles and glass. The wood on the doors alone is probably worth the asking price. Too bad I already replaced my windshield last year... Then I was thinking about SquiggleDog's new wagon; Are W111 sedan doors the same as W110? What about the hood?

Great find! The W110 and W111 doors are the same, but the hood is different, and so are the fenders. The trunk lids, grille, and windshields are the same.
