W109 3.5 D-jet cold start injector flush
I was renovating my injector and intake. It is all back and I was thinking to flush the cold start injector but I am at loss here.
I was attaching the injector to 12V and turned it on and off (just like I did with the other 8 injectors) but here I found that no carb cleaner is going through (i attached a hose filled with carb cleaner) although the injector 'clicks' as it should. I was then applying some pressure to the hose in order to get through but nothing even with 30 psi. The weird thing was that if I applied more than 15 psi the injectors wouldn't do the click any more. When I lowered the air pressure in the hose the injector was clicking again. As I said I am at a loss and need some help to understand what is going on. Martin |

No one?
I have a problem with this cold start injector. question is: what is wrong with it. Should it flush like any other injector? And if yes, what is wrong and how can it be cured? Unfortunately I don't have a ultrasonic bath... Any suggestions? |

Could low battery causing the injector not opening?
I checked battery voltage this morning...as the engine was not running all winter and it was low at 11.9V. Could it be that low battery is causing the problem of the injector not opening?

Martin, I have an ultrasonic tank and spare cold start injectors will ship with the other air valves.
