I recommend Weber carbs
Since my 230 was back on road I have struggled with the zenith carbs for sometime. The carbs were rebuilt but every drive feels different and still hard to tune. Finally I got fed up and ordered the weber carbs from ebay and installed right after I received it. The linkage was interfering the heater pipe otherwise it was simple easy installation. After I drove the car I knew it was a good decision, the car is so powerful now and so smooth!!! And I am not smelling the strong smell of exhaust anymore. I strongly recommend for those who are still struggling.

When I replaced the engine in my 71 250C years ago, I left the Weber carbs that came on the replacement engine installed on the manifold.
I've yet to regret that decision. Jim

That's great, glad to hear it!
I received the Weber conversion for the Solex 4A1 carb earlier this week. I can't wait to bolt it on and get rid of the leaky Solex. It's moodier than an emo teenager, no two drives feel the same. |
