I poked around the forum looking for some simular threads and found nothing so heres my problem. My side vent windows (1966 / 230S) both left and right have the knubs on the top that they pivot on worn down. Also the "cups" they sit in are split opened and the left is damaged badly.
If I try to weld I'll destroy the chrome and I'm not sure what metal is underneath the chrome encasings anyway. I'm wondering if anyone has dealt with this situation before. Thanks for any help, I have seen the windows for sale with some fair pricing but my "cups" they sit it are damaged also. Any Ideas!!!! Doc
