Headlights out, but works when on highbeam?
Any ideas on what is going on with this? Right low beam went out, but when high-beams are turned on, it turns on.
It is pitch black out, so I have not been able to check it out. |

Bulbs have two filaments, one for standard and one for high beam. Sounds like your bulbs are on their way out.
Not that you asked, but I'd recommend replacing the dim stock sealed headlamps with aftermarket lamps/ bulbs. I have Hella H4's - they're much brighter. They are easy to replace and not expensive. Think of it as a safety item. Last edited by JMela; 03-06-2012 at 11:24 PM. |

Year and model of car?
My G did this with one headlight and it turned out to be a bad fuse box of all things.
