W116 autotrans tweak?

Is anyone aware of good ways to make the lazy tranny shift a little snappier?

if it has a vacuum modulator you can adjust the adjuster OUT to firm up the shifts a bit

As I understand it you can adjust the manual modulator too. Is it too soft on every shift?

Transmission snappier?

Thank you guys. haven't bought the car yet but remember the lazy shifts! Want to goose it a little. Thank you both for the suggestions.
