1972 280sel 4.5 rear window

So i have a customer who contacted me about getting him this rear window.

I ran his vin and he as one of the first 500 made so the window is actually different for some models.....i.e some had heating some not.

I got the window for him and they are NLA at the dealer and even if they were my shop cost is more than a grand.

Question is what should i charge him for it? Im big in the w123 world and im on another forum more so i dont have many posts here but please dont think im a newbie.

I am just asking because times are tough for people and i dont want to ask anything unrealistic. I was thinking $300 was more than fair, but what do you all think?

I'd say it has to depend on condition, as I assume this is a used window.
IE: If heated, all heating elements work (no breaks), no crazing or opaqueness in the glass, nicks, etc. Then $300 is fair.
If it has some issues, like nicks, one or two of the heating wires has an irreparable break, etc then maybe $200.

I would assume, differences in heated or not aside, that any 111, 112, 108 or 109 window would work in this application; and these should be common enough that anything over $300 would be a little high

How would you make a W111 or W112 rear window fit a W108?

You're right, I think I was half asleep writing that! Any 108 and 109 window should work.
