I'm half way through something similar, I am putting a W111 coupe body on a W126 floor pan. So far i am using a M100 6.9 engine but after seeing a cheap V12 twin turbo on ebay,I may just change my mind.

My work shop/area just got a lot taller last Sunday. We had a "rip-snorter" of a summer storm come through and now my roof is about a gadzillion feet higher.

Got a new canopy ordered and I hope to be in the shade again by next Wednesday.

Too dang hot to do any work anyway but I miss my hang-out, beer drinking spot plus I just got a new tool box which I've been trying to get organized. It's just sitting there covered with a tarp calling out to me, "Come fill my drawers, put your big wrenches in their spots, make those hammers fit".
