A bit of an update. The brake bleeder screw snapped as I was tightening it for the last time. As I think I got all of the air out, I finished bleeding the rest of the lines this past Saturday. After finishing, the brakes still did not work properly. The pedal traveled well, but I still essentially had manual brakes.

Figuring I improperly bled the brakes, I took the car to my mechanic. I got it back yesterday. They replaced the vacuum hose going into the booster and now, for the first time since owning the car, I have power brakes. They said the used booster I got from ScooterABC worked and that I must have properly bled the lines. I still have a broken bleeder screw that will have to be addressed one day, but for now, Ive got a car with working brakes.

Thanks again for everyone’s help. I would not have been able to attempt the repair without your input.
