Red face Please help! 1956 220S model and vin questions

I have been searching for 2 days now about this car. I have basically come up with a bit of knowledge about mid 50's Mercedes, but bupkis on what I need to know. Long story short, and from what I can tell I have a 1956 220s with a webasto sliding roof. My great uncle passed away and left everything to be sold in the estate. He was a hoarder. He bought this car 20 years ago and parked it at one of his properties. I have been given the duty of selling this car because I am the gear head of the family. I have no clue when it comes to classic German sedans on even where to start?! If anyone could please give me any information I would greatly appreciate it. Even a direction to go in would be great!

The vin on the title is 1809246501996
It has the sliding roof, wooden dash, and I'm assuming column shift manual
It is a 220s, white with black interior. Any info on value, technical specs, or anything to tell me what I have so that I may help my family out and be fair. I have no clue with these old mercs. Thank you all in advance

Welcome, the Ponton models have a large following. The Ponton group, Mercedes-Benz Pontons (1953-1962) © www.mbzponton.org, are very knowledgeable about the car. Please check them, some post here.
