What are these dowels?

I found these in the trunk, under where I was storing the m117 intake manifold. Note, the 2 dowels in each cylinder head to keep the gasket in place and align the manifold are in place.

The second ones look like the cam tower ones... the first, not sure. It's hard to tell without scale though (like a quarter, just to give us an idea for size)
Edit: I just noticed what looks like a razor on the top of the pic, which would mean they are def not the cam tower ones... Are these possibly links from your timing chain? Based off how small they must be? |
Yes, that is a razor blade. Links from the timing chain make sense, since the chain broke causing quite a mess.
