Stabilizer or Leaf Spring.... HELP

I am new to the Benz world. I am the proud owner of a 1971 280se with 58,000 original miles. I have been searching the internet pretty hard looking for some parts. The car does not need much at all. But I do need a drivers side leaf spring that goes to the stabilizer bar. I cannot find one.. Please help!!!!

#141 here? Front Axle | 280SE Mercedes-Benz w108 Oldtimer spare parts

You might have to try a parts car or pick and pull yard, unless Classic Center has them.

:(

People with access to parts cars or parts yards pop on occasionally. Where are you, BTW?

Thanks Palolo. You was the only one that tried to help. Anyways Michigan here.there is not much for spare parts or cars in this area.
I ended of welding it and then heat treating it. Hopefully it works. Won't know for a little bit. I have a full Air Bag suspension that I am gonna start to install in the next few days.

If the welded spring doesn't work out... the guys who work with the old cars have parts stashes, too.

Try Dr. Benz, Dan, at the Benz Barn in Michigan, he might have some leads on an old axle or parts. He specializes in restorations and also distributor rebuilds. His number should still be (877) 661-6061.

You might also look up Joe Alexander in Blacklick, OH. He may very likely also have a front subframe with parts.

Good luck.
