75 300D sits, want to get rid of it
Former daily driver now with too many little problems. Hasn't run for a year. Excellent parts car or good foundation. Is there a market for these?

That's sad, I would take if I was close....I am sure there is a market for it....as long as the body isn't rusted out....would need more info and photos to know for sure...

There is a market for anything.
Does it run at all? Look over the strong points and the weak points, make a list of them, and put it on Ebay. Someone might buy it for the interior, someone might buy it just to get the front clip. You never know. If it is rusted out then talk about how strong the mechanical parts are. Someone needs this stuff, but you have to put it in front of them. |

Well put, 114/115s have become uncommon enough anymore that if its not drivable it needs to be parted out to help keep some other cars on the road, but that said I've never paid a number that had 4 digits in it for a 114/115 that needed work.

You bet there is. It all depends on condition but it should sell regardless. |

What are the little problems?
I have a fantastic engine in my 78 300D but really need to find out if my tranny is salvageable at a decent cost or if it's worth it to stick a rebuilt Adsit 722.118 in there for over $2k, or should I stick a 4spd in; then there's the issue of rust behind every wheel, eating up into the wells, rusty jackpoints, rust in the crossmember under the rear seat.... I'd love a W115 to drop my engine into. Enough that I've been looking around for one. Phil Forrest

The Adsit Company Transmission are the way to go. I bought one years ago with a great warranty and have had no issues. Call Reece and he will get you set up!

Hi, I have to play Devil's Advocate here and ask if you have any affiliation with Adsit? I am actually not an Adsit Co. hater as many on here are, I grew up near them so have good memories and experiences with them, but noticed that all your posts have only been glowing reviews of Adsit? We don't mind opinions but do expect they be presented truthfully and that you disclose any connections to vendors you may be recommending online (this is actually a Federal law btw).
