Started my Engine today...Pretty excited
I haven't posted any updates on my 1961 220s "restoration" because i've been crazy swamped at work and hadn't made much progress.
This week i was able to weld up most of my fabrication and am close to sealing the right hand side. I also dropped the Gas Tank and am starting to get it ready to go.. (i think i need new tank if any has one available, this one was pretty bad) The Engine out of a 1971 250C that i had never heard run, Started up on the palette in my garage and made me pretty happy.. i bought it sight unseen.. I hope to share soon! Love following everyone's progress on their cars! |

I live in Fort Worth, not too far from you. With Al and David we could form a classic MB club :-)

Very Cool, I'd be down for that and would love to meet up with you all and check out your rides. I'm trying to get finished up with mine so i can at least drive it.

Maybe one weekend when the weather is nice we can get together. BTW, I work in Colleyville and drive the Benz when the weather is nice, so you might see me on the road :-)
