How to find VIN for my W114

Noob question here. Both plates attached (in front of radiator and in driver's door). With all the various lines and numbers, I'm not sure what my definitive VIN actually is?

The big plate (the one on the right side when looking at the front of the car) with a ton of numbers on numerous lines is the option code plate. You can get the paint color and as-ordered vehicle options (A/C, cruise control, power steering, etc) from this plate.

The other one is the chassis number which deviates slightly from the registration VIN but both are very similar. If you want to order vehicle specific things (like keys) you need to use this one. I think this is the one you're looking for. 114 110 12 043181.
I just used this number on my 1972 220D to order a new key that worked perfectly first time I turned it in the driver door cylinder.

Its 114 010, probably just a typo, but in case you're going to try to order something off that vin.
