Ponton rear coil springs Positive camber problem

Hi Sirs-
I took the rear axle out on my wagon to replace some seals and get in there to do some rust repair. When I put it back together I have a positive camber on the wheels. The wheels are canted out a bit. The manuals talk about turning the springs on the cups they seat on. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks Angus

The service manual covers it well. There are four clicks on the spring holder depending on your situation. Your wheels will tend to straighten themselves out once you drive the car.

rear axle coil spring

Thanks for replying Len.
I attached a picture of my rear axle on the right side.
I clocked the cup plate around as you can see by my markings.
I figured moving it back to the place you see would be the furthest most point on the spring. What do you think?
The movement hasn't changed the camber problem.
Anything you might suggest would be appreciated. Thanks, Angus

Have you driven the car since putting the tires back on the ground? They should straighten themselves out when driven. How old is the rubber in the rear end? If really old, it is likely time to replace all/most of it.
