Re: the roller chain 0009977694 - so for clarification, the head gasket replacement requires installing (one) new roller chain with lock... Might I ask what is that, (is it the cam shaft chain, if yes, I guess I would need a special tool to break the presently installed one, and same tool to connect the new one... Thx in advance for your clarification?

This is the timing chain.

It has been superseded, and was a suggestion of the common replacement list for this job.
