Transmission fluid cooler or oil cooler on 1974 240D??

I just picked up a 1974 240D that has a rusted out transmission fluid cooler (or is this the oil cooler?), the unit on the driver's side of the radiator. Is this something that can be replaced on its own, or do I need to replace the entire radiator? The previous owner said he bypassed this cooler recently but didn't run it much like that.

Transmission oil cooler is in the bottom of the radiator if the car is an automatic. The oil cooler is hung on the side of the radiator. The oil cooler can be replaced on its own with new oil cooler lines. The transmission oil cooler cannot be replaced on its on, the radiator must be recored/replaced...

Thank you. It's the oil cooler.
