I would if the timing was right and she was closer. Story of my life...
How badly is the frame bent - just passenger front or other damage as well ? How many mechanicals have been wasted - radiator/other ?

I would tackle it......only if it was cheaper.....that was a nice car but 2500 would buy a pretty straight example.....car is worth scrap price 300$....depending on the interior may be worth 700....for sure not 4 digits..

offer them 700$ in person with the intention of doing the rebuild. I have a 200se axle assembly here that can be bolted right in if the original isn't usable. The fun parts will be the radiator support and the frame rail with inner fender. -cth
