Heat/Steam riser lubrication
So there is a topic on BenzWorld about heat risers. I just learned you are supposed to lubricate them per specification. What I don't know is if my car has heat risers (fuel injected coupe)? If so, how do I lube them? Also, I have heard reference to "steam risers", is that something else all together and where are they located and do they also require service?

Marrs--you have an SE, right? If so, you won't have a heat riser. It was engineered on carbureted engines to divert exhaust gases to the bottom of the carbs (when cold), to help vaporize the fuel.
I have no idea what a "steam riser" is. Sounds medieval.
