Injector return lines on '75 240D?
I just picked up a '75 240D that has been run on Biodiesel for the past couple of years. The injector return lines are a mess and leaking so I want to replace them. I picked up some 1/8" rubber fuel line hose, which is what I've used on our '83 300D. But it doesn't seem to want to go clean onto the nipple on the injectors, it goes about halfway but gets jammed against the injector and won't go all the way on the nipple. Any suggestions? Is there another type of fuel line that will fit better?

You need the braided 3.5mm fuel line that comes stock. It's sold by pelican and a bunch of other online places. You might be able to find it at a parts store or at an indy mechanic that services imported diesel engines.
That hose is the best option for the Benz diesels since it is more temperature resistant than other fuel lines. Phil Forrest

Thanks Phil. That's what I suspected. I just ordered 60" of line from the folks at **************. Cheers.
