If it's the one I'm thinking of it should run to a vapor recovery tank in the right rear quarter panel.

The black line in the trunk I am thinking of is a vent line from the fuel tank to the vapor recovery tank. The vapor recovery tank is kind of hidden behind the spare tire, might be charcoal filtered too.

The vapor recovery tank is important to the point it contains the explosive fuel vapors from the gas tank (simple/reader's digest version).

You should have simply plugged the black line IN the left rear door since that is the actuator that was leaking, and that is the end of the line for the left side. Yes, there is a black and a white vacuum line in the trunk and the black line should terminate at the trunk lock (end of the line). And the vapor recovery line is also black, but of a different size if I recall.

i do have all the lines pluged in the door!
this line is for the vaccum locking system it leads to a box near the
lock tumbler for the trunk it is not running to the vapor cannister
if it was the vac. would suck it into the intake making the fuel/air way too rich and my car is not running rich
