I don't believe there are any vacuum lines to the heat/AC on the 108's, the heater is lever/cable controlled.

There is a vacuum line that runs down to the modulator on the tranny. There is also a vacuum line that goes to the distributer advance, plus that leg off the yellow line that goes to the vacuum resevoir in the left front fender (I guess it's possible the grommet at the resevoir is shot).

I still think you need to get a clamp on the manifold pressure sensor line. Yes it is a tight fit just getting your hand down there, but you got it there once to get the line on. What I ended up doing was getting my hand/arm in there, then dropping a stubby screw driver into my hand from the top (only way I could get the driver down there). Then very carefully with the one hand, hold the line tight to the manifold using a couple fingers, another finger to position the clamp where I wanted it and my thumb and last finger to turn the driver until tight enough to let go of the line. Yes it was a handful, but I did it.

Back of the intake manifold. Just follow the line from the intake manifold pressure sensor on the driver side wheel well and you will be close. For the heater mine has one line that runs up and splits to two vaum relays. They Are about 2" x 1" and bolted to the firewall. The line running to the tranny is all metal and attached to the intake with a banjo bolt. This line is close to the afore mentioned lines.

ok i'll put a clamp on it but i'm going to use a sqeeze clamp(standard on newer cars so i'll just squeeze it w/ a pliers and reles it once its in position. but if i plug the brake and locking line and replace the distributor line will my vaccum at idle go up

also i heard that if you get a spray bottle filled with water on mist setting you could spray your lines and the motor would bog were you have a leak is this true?

Prime areas for vacuum leaks are the injector seals and the manifold halve (upper to lower chambers) seals. What makes you think you have a leak? If you can hear it use a piece of hose; one end to your ear and one sweeping all the areas that are hard to get near.

Increase your timing till you have at least fifteen, preferably 17.

Loosen the nut (5mm hex I think) that holds the distributor in place and turn the distributor (with the car running) in the direction that increases the idle. Have your vacuum gauge set up so that you can see the vacuum increase as you turn the distributor. Invest in a timing light to get your timing just right.
