Looking for a distributor for my 69 4 cyl gasser
I have an incorrect distributor that uses a vacuum advance instead of a vacuum retard. Suggestions where I can a good used one?
My car is running ok at the moment, but without a working vacuum advance/retard system. It bugs me it's not 100% It's not super critical but . . . Someday I would like to get it right. Besides, I would like a spare distributor. Chris

I have a complete 75 230 gas motor out of a W115. I can't confirm they are the same but if someone else can, or if a picture would tell you I can get you some pics.

FWIW, my factory W114-W115 service manual covers models built from 1968 to May 1971. For the 220, it gives a distributor part number JFUR4 0 231 115 060 for engines with an air-injection emissions system (smog-pump), and JFUR4 0 231 115 064 for engines without air-injection.
Happy Motoring, Mark
