Removing door seals 111 coupe
My seals are worn and as we know they are very expensive. I may paint my car at some point but I would like to install new seals before that.
My question: Can the seals be installed in such a way that they can be removed (when I paint the car) without damage? Some kind of adhesive that can be released? Tks

I have new seals but need paint and decided against installing them until I do the paint job because the advice I got was that they do need to be glued into place. To do this properly of course you need high quality sealant which is counter to glue that can be easily removed. I bought Gummi Pfledge to rejuvenate my somewhat dry and cracking seals so they would work better until I do the paint work.
