MB 220 SEB, W111 gearbox question

Hi,

Anyone here who knows if the manual gearboxes with number 111 261 05 01 are identical even if the have been fitted with floor or column shifts?

I am have found a replacement box with this exakt number matching a 220 SEB from 1964, but I have a floor shift and the replacement box comes out of a column shifted car. I imagine that only the linkages differ, but have heard there is more to it than just shifting this between the boxes..

Thanks and Brgds

The gearboxes have different gearbox housing's upper covers for the floor & for the column shift.
