w114 ac blowers

From my experience with my 72 250C, I assume the standard ac blower motor simply didn't move that much air. Has anyone retrofitted a W114 with a Spal blower? I'd be interested in hearing about your experiences.

My 76 280C blower is still strong. I don't have A/C as I removed the A/C and all it's components. But the blower is strong enough that sometimes it bothers my eyes. The noise however is another issue...it's LOUD.
