Need help: w108 rear hub assembly replacement.
Hey guys, I'm new to owning a classic car... This is my first real challenge. I own a 1968 w108 mercedes 250s. the rear passenger hub needs to be replaced. Long story short all 5 threads are stripped. I can't seem to find a place that sells the hub assembly.
I also tried to see how to remove the hub assembly but coming up blank. I saw a video on YouTube that a guy removes the whole shaft with he hub assembly still attached. Any help on what I need to do and where I can find the part would be much appreciated. Thanks Phillip |

You could drill, tap and install studs. You could probably find some retrofit studs that would work. Just insure you know what you are doing.
