280C Speedometer Cable
I broke the speedometer cable for my 1974 280C. The sheath is fine, the flexible cable broke. Does anyone know the length? I'm assuming the only route to go is purchase a Dorman repair cable. Does anyone else have any suggestions. The Pioneer # is CA-3121, but it seems this is a discontinued number.

You might look into OEM cables from a Mercedes dealer--the last one I bought was $30 or so. If your car has factory cruise control you'll need a different cable to fit the speed sensor box under the dash. Try to arrange the routing to give enough working room at the speedometer connection--it can be a tight fit
