My 1972 300SEL had a blaupunkt radio in it when I bought it in 2006. I have been unable to determine what radio it had when new. It appears that there may have been several differnt choices from the factory..."Grand Prix" "Europa" and even several iterations of same over time, the later ones being stero.

I suppose the best place to go is the original build/delivery sheet. Is there any source for those records?
