Gonna go out on a limb and guess that the new mb owners from Gooding aren't going to appear on our beloved forum looking for torque specs.

High prices for Pagodas and a 6.3 bumping up on $200k!

The new owners probably have "people" that maintain their vehicles. The coupe went for $319k. It's interesting how these "time capsule" examples keep surfacing.

There's an immaculate cab at Hexagon, London.
Price on application?

If they were added on from near new, I guess they wouldn't have been very expensive to add on compared to the purchase price of the car.

At a selling price of $319, I would have preferred to see the car totally original. There's a lot of drilling involved to add them and they're a rust trap. Not a great fan especially on a 3.5.

I don't "get" the tremendous differential between certain "collectible" cars in today's markets. A restored 300SEL 6.3 is worth $198,000, while an equivalent 300SEL 4.5 is worth maybe $30,000-35,000. Fewer made (2,533 vs. 6,526), more modern and smoother torque converter transmission, and top speed of "only" 125 mph.
And a Fiat "Jolly" is worth $121,000?

These aren't really being driven, I'm guessing. The marketing materials don't talk about roadholding nor acceleration.

They are now 'investments''. Would be interesting to see where these cars are headed, geographically.
