Hello, About a year ago I removed and disassembled the heater controller in my 1972 280 SE. I had every intention of replacing the blower motor, but still haven't decided if I will try it myself or higher someone else to do it. So I decided to go ahead and replace the knobs, and reassemble the controller. I was nearly completed when I realized I was short some parts. I'm missing the pins that hold the cable end to the top two control knobs, the quick nuts that hold them on, and a clip for holding the control cable to the controller. Can anyone tell me where I might find the parts that I need. I have tried google but never really got anywhere with that. Thanks.

I get quick nuts at my local hardware store. They may have something you can fab up to solve your other problem too. It's worth a look!
